This advanced programme aims to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills for implementing Globally Harmonized System (GHS) in accordance with the United Nations GHS Revision 10. Participants will gain expertise in hazard classification, labelling, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and international compliance strategies. As this is an advanced and technical course, participants are expected to have a solid basic knowledge in natural sciences (chemistry, biology) and in mathematics (for non-advanced equations), as well as some experience with non-GHS classification systems and/or in hazard/risk assessments.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, participants will:
- Understand and apply GHS classification criteria for physical, health, and environmental hazards.
- Prepare compliant labels and SDS according to international standards.
- Navigate complex regulatory frameworks for global chemical management.

Session 4: Hazard Communication & SDS
Session 5: Advanced Testing & Compliance
The sessions are spread over a period of 5 weeks. The course is virtual, interactive and practice-oriented. It places emphasis on accommodating professionals in full-time work.
