Membership
Just as molecules bond to form stronger compounds, companies and key players who unite are stronger and better able to tackle shared challenges. The Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA), representing over 130 companies, aims to foster an enabling environment in which the sector operates.
To this end, it advocates for its members by collaborating with government departments and related bodies on legislation, regulations and standards that affect production, people and prosperity of the sector, while also championing responsible stewardship across the value chain. Join our network and gain the following membership benefits:
The following graphic depicts the journey that prospective members would follow upon applying for CAIA membership.

Membership Categories and Fee Structure
Members, with the exception of affiliates, must submit a completed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) questionnaire and undergo an independent audit every three years. Hauliers are audited every two years using the SQAS-AFRICA questionnaire. Details on auditors and verification service providers are available on our website.
It would be great to welcome you as our newest member of the CAIA network. If you are interested, please contact CAIA at caiainfo@caia.co.za.
