Human Factors and Organisational Culture in Process Safety

On 29 April 2025, CAIA, in collaboration with Cranfield University, hosted a webinar that looked at how the human element has a bearing on process safety. People – their behaviour, attitudes, skills, and knowledge – play a crucial role in maintaining safe and reliable operations. From frontline workers to managers and leaders, human performance and decision-making shape how effectively safety systems function across the chemical and related industries.
