CAIA invites you to the second biodiversity webinar that builds on from the introductory webinar held on 6 May 2025, where the benefits of a healthy biodiversity that is well managed will be presented.
The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) will be presenting on their work to create tools and information resources used to guide policy and how biodiversity management is one factor for economic development. Mainstreaming biodiversity ensures that addressing development needs and protecting the environment is not an either-or situation, but rather that development is supported by the sustainable use of natural resources.
Presentations will also be made by two of CAIA’s members that have successfully mainstreamed biodiversity into their day-to-day operations to demonstrate how this was achieved.
