The DFFE held a Highveld Priority Area stakeholder engagement session on 5 July 2023 where elements of the proposed Priority Area Air Quality Management Plans Regulations were presented, as well as the Highveld Priority Area Air Quality BAR and ERP. The latter was following modelling that was undertaken. It is noteworthy that a 40% reduction in emissions is being proposed for industry.
