As a result of the CAIA’s participation at the Department of Environmental Affairs’ Chemicals and Waste Economy Phakisa during 2017, and it being elected speaker for the Initiatives of the Chemicals Workstream, CAIA was invited to be a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) on the revision to the lead phase-out legislation.
