CAIA alerts members to notices published in terms of Section 280(1) of the National Road Traffic Regulations where approvals of Dangerous Goods Training Bodies by the Department are provided. A further five service providers have been approved. (R676)

National Land Transport Strategic Framework
Summary of Intent
The Department of Transport has released the final draft of the National Land Transport Strategic Framework (NLTSF) – a legally required document in terms of the National Land Transport Act – that is updated every five years. The NLTSF sets out strategic priorities to apply transport planning in achieving social, health, economic and environmental outcomes. The identified strategic priorities and outcomes link the NLTSF to the National Development Plan, the National Transport Master Plan 2050, provincial transport and spatial planning, and broader strategies and plans at local government level. The overall vision of the NLTSF is to create an integrated and efficient transport system, supporting a thriving economy that promotes sustainable economic growth, provides safe and accessible mobility options, socially includes all communities and preserves the environment.Your membership level does not allow you access to this content.
