Request for Information: Nuclear New Build Programme

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has published Request For Information (RFI) in respect of the commencement of preparations for a nuclear build programme to the extent of 2 500 MW. The RFI is intended to commence the Departmental preparatory work to develop plans for a future nuclear energy build programme. This is in line with the Integrated Resource Plan 2019 Decision 8. The RFI will enable the Department to gain insight into the cost of the programme, possible ownership structures, cost recovery, the end user cost and sustainability of the programme. First Aid Training Approval

The Department of Employment and Labour has published a notice stating that all applications for approval from a person who or an organisation that wants to provide First Aid Training approved by the Chief Inspector, as referred to in Regulation 3(4) of the General Safety Regulation will only be considered if it is accompanied by a valid accreditation document issued by the Quality Assurance Body that has been delegated the quality assurance responsibilities for First Aid unit standards by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations, established in terms of section 261(1) of the Skills Development Amendment Act, and has been authorised by the Chief Inspector to carry out such accreditation.Your membership level does not allow you access to this content.
