On 9 June 2022, the President of the Republic of South Africa delivered the Presidency Budget Vote, 2022 to Parliament’s National Assembly. One of the highlights of the Speech is that the country is beginning to show positive signs of recovery – growing in the first quarter by 1.9% that is much sooner than analysts expected as it is at pre-pandemic levels.
