Summary of Intent
The Carbon Tax Act regulations published on 29 November 2019 have been amended. Section 2 of the regulations, “allowance of offset in respect of an approved project against carbon tax liability” has been amended to extend the date for allowance of offsets from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2025.
