Adjustment of Statutory Limit in Respect of Claims for Loss of Income and Loss of Support
Summary of Intent
The Department of Transport has published a Notice relating to the amounts referred to in subsection 17(4)(c) of the Road Accident Fund Act that have been adjusted to R281 271.00 with effect from 30 April 2019 in order to counter the Consumer Price Index. Section 17 provides for the liability of the fund and agents in respect of claims for loss of income and loss of support.
