Rotterdam Convention (Prior Informed Consent) – proposed amendment
Summary of Intent
Several Parties to the Rotterdam Convention are proposing that the way that decisions are taken for the listing of substances on Annex III of the Convention be amended – from a consensus basis to a 75% majority vote.
