The Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee of the Stockholm Convention held a meeting in October 2017, where draft risk management evaluation on dicofol, pentafluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), PFOA salts and related compounds was considered. The Committee recommended that the Conference of Parties consider listing dicofol in Annexure A without specific exemptions, and listing PFOA, its salts and related compounds in Annexure A or B with specific exemptions.Your membership level does not allow you access to this content. The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) has published a consultation paper, for public comment, on the Review of the Municipal Tariff Guideline Increase, Benchmarks and Proposed Timelines for the Municipal Tariff Approval Process for the 2018/2019 Financial Year. The municipal tariff guideline increase is developed based on Eskom’s approved bulk price increase of electricity to municipalities and the increase on the municipalities’ cost structures.
