Invitation for Stakeholders to Submit Written Comments on the Cost of Supply Framework for Licensed Electricity Distributors in South Africa
Summary of Intent
As provided for by Section 4(ii) of the Electricity Regulation Act, NERSA may regulate electricity prices and tariffs. The Cost of Supply Framework for Licensed Electricity Distribution is meant to assist licensed municipal and private distributors in performing their cost of supply studies. Whilst this framework primarily focuses on the distribution business of a licensee, it is also acknowledged that certain distributors also have own generation plants and others might progress into transmission capacity. The framework therefore also includes cost drivers relating to the generation and transmission of electricity. Timeframes, including those for planned public hearings, are included in the document.Your membership level does not allow you access to this content.
