Overview
The MHI Regulations have been in force as from 04 February 2023. All threshold levels are fully applicable. Qualitative Risk Assessments (QRAs) were required immediately after the promulgation of the MHI Regulations. There are three classes, namely low, medium, and high hazard. The transition period was staged in three phases after the promulgation of the Regulations.
Sites that are no longer MHIs, shall conduct an exit QRA and submit the report for endorsement by local Government and then by the Department of Employment and Labour to deregister. A certificate will be issued to indicate that they are no longer an MHI. The MHI Workshop will address questions that participants have regarding the implementation of the MHI Regulations.
Who Should Attend?
Members who have MHI sites and those who would like to deregister sites that were previously MHI.
