Emergency Preparedness and Response Training Course
The objective of this course is to give participants an understanding of the planning, preparation and procedures required for an effective response to emergencies at the workplace. Ensuring that your business is adequately prepared for every plausible scenario is essential.
Learning Outcomes:
After the course, delegates will be able to explain the:
- Different types of emergencies that may be encountered in a workplace.
- Various responses to an alarm.
- Responsibilities of a safety officer at an assembly area.
- Functions of an emergency control centre.
Who Should Attend?
The Emergency Preparedness and Response Training Course is intended for all personnel who are required to attend to an incident or emergency involving hazardous materials and take basic preventative measures while calling for assistance.
Entry Requirements
- Communication at NQF Level 1 or equivalent.
- Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 1 or equivalent.
