This year marks the 53rd anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement, commemorated annually as Earth Day. More than 1 billion people participate in Earth Day actions each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world. The impact of human activity on the planet cannot be overstated. The theme for 2023 is “Invest in Our Planet”, which highlights the importance of dedicating our time, resources, and energy to solving climate change and other environmental issues. Investing in our planet is necessary to protect it and the best way to pave a path towards a prosperous future.
