Shaping Industry Perception and Growth
Ensuring a balanced perception of the contribution of the chemical and allied industries in the pursuance of opportunities for growth in South Africa, on the African continent and internationally.
Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises
Promoting the interests of small and developing business in the chemical and allied industries and to fostering co-operation in this sector, thereby contributing to achievement of the national imperatives of economic growth.
Advancing Responsible Care® Commitment
Increasing the commitment of the chemical and allied industries to the Responsible Care® Initiative and assisting with the implementation thereof.
Engaging Government on Policy and Legislation
Consulting with and advising all levels of government on the content and advisability of proposed legislation affecting the chemical and allied industries.
Lobbying for a Stronger Industry Voice
Lobbying and advocating agreed upon positions, policies and legislation for the chemical and allied industries.
Providing Industry Leadership
Providing leadership and balanced perspective for members.
Representing Industry Interests
Promoting the broad interest of the chemical and allied industries and representing these to government, and other stakeholders.
