Responsible Care Publicity

CAIA appointed a public relations consultancy to contextualise what Responsible Care is and to raise awareness of Responsible Care in the hearts and minds of all stakeholders. The ultimate objective is to ensure that Responsible Care is positioned as the industry leader on the topics of safety, health and environmental performance within the chemical industry and business in general. A targeted approach to the relevant stakeholders will be followed with the following priority audiences:

• employees of member organisations
• the media in identified areas
• university students studying Chemistry, environmental studies, mechanical/chemical engineering and science education
• Governmental Departments/NGO’s
• Trade Unions
• The general public in identified areas
• Schools
